Investing in state-of-the-art equipment is an important part of helping our learners keep up with the latest changes and innovations in the sector. So, our Construction and Civil Engineering department at the City of Newport Campus has had an exciting delivery of brand-new surveying equipment from KOREC.

This year, 29 inspirational Â鶹´«Ã½ÍŶÓ learners have made it through to the finals of WorldSkills UK, competing against learners from colleges across the country this November. 

We haven't yet had the chance to properly celebrate the fantastic new facilities on offer to learners in Cwmbran. So, last week, we held an official opening celebration attended by VIPs and special guests from Welsh Government.

Today is ‘Wear Red Day’ and we’re doing exactly that to demonstrate our support in showing racism the red card. At Â鶹´«Ã½ÍŶÓ, we’re committed to making a stand and doing our bit to drive positive and impactful change, in line with Welsh Government’s vision of an anti-racist Wales.

Every year, hundreds of adult learners join Â鶹´«Ã½ÍÅ¶Ó to change their story through free and flexible courses. This Adult Learners Week, we met some of our mature students to hear their stories and find out why they joined Â鶹´«Ã½ÍÅ¶Ó this September.

The Automotive and Engineering sector has come a long way in recent years, so, at Â鶹´«Ã½ÍŶÓ, we’re shifting our focus to set you up for the future. We’ve developed our curriculum and invested in new facilities so you can learn the skills you need for success.
