Â鶹´«Ã½ÍŶÓ's rising stars shine at WorldSkills UK competition

It’s been another fantastic year for Â鶹´«Ã½ÍÅ¶Ó at the WorldSkills UK competitions.Ìý

Our talented learners have once again showcased their exceptional skills, winning Gold, Silver, and Highly Commended awards across a range of disciplines.ÌýÌý

This year’s finals saw students and apprentices from across the country competing in a range of skills-based disciplines from creative make-up to catering, and media production to hairdressing.   Ìý

Over 400 competitors from across the UK battled to be crowned ‘skills champion’ in their specialist areas with 16 of our learners reaching the finals.ÌýÌý

Our learners won a total of 12 medals, reaffirming Â鶹´«Ã½ÍŶÓ’s position in the top ten colleges across the UK for skills training finishing a very impressive 5th ´Ç±¹±ð°ù²¹±ô±ô. â¶Ä¯Ìý

Meet some of our skills championsÌýÌý

  • Automotive Refinishing: Teagan impressed with their skills in vehicle painting and finishing, producing amazing results that reflected industry standards.Ìý
  • Commercial Make-Up: Our talented make-up artists in training, Madison, Tierny and Jessie, wowed the judges with their ability to create professional and artistic looks.Ìý
  • Foundation skills: Restaurant Services: °ä²¹³¾±ð°ù´Ç²Ô’s talents in customer service, table setting, and management shined.Ìý
  • Foundation skills: Enterprise: Jay, Kai and Brandon demonstrated excellent teamwork skills to create an inspiring project with a sustainable theme.Ìý
  • Hairdressing: Mozhdeh showcased creativity and technical skills in cutting, styling, and colouring hair to create fashionable looks.Ìý

ÌýSince 2012, we have proudly supported numerous learners in their journey through WorldSkills competitions.ÌýÌý
