Our talented learners across 麻豆传媒团队 have听been given听the听unique听opportunity to get creative and design a logo for the听Torfaen Strategic Economic Forum鈥檚 new Business Forum.听Members of the Entrepreneurship Group of the Torfaen Strategic Economic Forum recently visited Torfaen Learning Zone to launch听the听exciting competition for learners.听

It鈥檚 a听great听opportunity for students to work on a real-world听scenario听for a local organisation, demonstrating their skills,听talents听and creativity听in a live project.听Students can also use this experience to develop their employability skills and enhance their CVs.听Learners will have the opportunity to submit either听hand-designed听artwork or a digital logo design, and the winning entry will not only have their logo used by the听Business听Forum but will also receive a 拢100 voucher prize.听

The鈥疶orfaen Strategic Economic Forum aims to create new business opportunities in the area to help improve the social well-being of the community and generate long term prosperity. It was created to encourage inward investment into the area, to help businesses grow and bring more career and employment options for people living in Torfaen.听With the help of the Forum, it鈥檚 hoped that businesses in Torfaen will work in collaboration with local Borough officials and government representatives (both in Wales and Westminster) to provide and support individuals with the opportunity to sustain skilled and secure employment.听

Alongside launching the logo design competition during their visit to Torfaen Learning Zone, the Forum members were introduced to a group of students working in the听new听Mac computer suite, and they were enthused by the motivation displayed by both learners and staff. Representative of the Forum,听Jean Church, commented听on how focused and stimulated the students were in her discussions with them. She was also inspired by the breadth of subject matter being covered as every student was undertaking a different element of the curriculum whilst still working side by side.听

With a broad range of courses on offer at 麻豆传媒团队, our learners听showcase听an array of unique talents which will shine through the logo design competition.听Zoe Blackler,听Enterprise听and Employability Manager at 麻豆传媒团队, is听delighted that the Forum has invited our learners to take part in such a great opportunity to work on a real-world project. It鈥檚 a fantastic opportunity for us to harness and showcase the learner talent we have here at 麻豆传媒团队, for the development of employability skills,听and also听for the winner to see their logo used within the locality – an exceptional start to their CV and portfolio!听
