…providing evidence towards the underpinning knowledge of the N/SVQ

Course content

You’ll need to be numerate, creative and have a keen interest in electrical and electronic engineering, as well as being fully committed to attendance, self-motivated and punctual.

The course itself consists of a range of mandatory and optional units, including:

  • Engineering health and safety

You’ll be assessed through exams, coursework, assignments, practical assessment and portfolio work before being awarded the City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Engineering (Electrical and Electronic Engineering). If you’ve taken advanced mathematics and science as an optional unit within the qualification you could progress to a higher level qualification (e.g. HNC).
