Course content
This course will help you understand men's grooming fashions and introduce you to a range of techniques and services offered by the modern barber.
What you'll learn:
- Basic comb, scissors and clipper skills
- Client care and consultation
- Equipment care and safety
- Cut, trim and style hair, beards and moustaches
Entry Requirements
There are no formal requirements, just an interest in learning barbering skills
Additional information
You'll be advised about the purchase of equipment and blocks to practice your skills, during the first week of the course.
After successful completion of the course, if you would like to continue developing your skillset you can progress onto the Level 2 NVQ Barbering course.
After booking your course you have 14 days to change your mind and request a full refund. You can still request a refund after this date, but this will only be given if you meet the criteria from the college fee policy.
If your chosen course starts within 14 days of you booking your place, then the 14 day refund policy does not apply and any refund will be subject to the college fee policy.
